Trivial things you may not know...

My husband Sam was an Alaska State Trooper and I was a dispatch supervisor for the Troopers (which is how we met).

I am the President of the LPGA Teaching Division's Central Section...which takes in 12 states.

I didn't take up golf until I turned 38, and only under duress, after my husband decided "it would be fun" to take a few golf lessons. After taking a lesson apiece, he decided he didn't like golf, and I decided that I loved golf. He rides his motorcycle,and I teach golf.

After my husband retired, we lived on and cruised aboard a 42' Krogen yacht named Princess (named after me, of course) in S.E. Alaska. We lived the boating life for 20 years and loved every minute.

I am a member of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) and the PGA (Professional Golfers of America), and one of only 180 women to be dual-registered in both organizations.

While living in Alaska, I was featured in Alaska Magazine for being the only LPGA member in the state.

I can navigate a boat from Seattle to Ketchikan, and have done so many times!

I'm a proud and active member of Valle Verde Rotary in Green Valley, Arizona.

I attend every learning opportunity I can--trying to find ways to be the best golf learning facilitator I can be!

My favorite golf book is "The Inner Game of Golf" by Timothy Galwey.

I played college basketball and was a high-jumper in track, and got a scholarship for both.

My husband Sam and I have been married for 26 years!

I am fascinated by the learning process, and believe that humans are amazing!
